Abstract
This study assessed the functional mobility and physical wellness of Zion of Praise Academy employees, focusing on the influence of PRECEDE and PROCEED factors, employee perceptions of a workplace-based limbering intervention, and its impacts on mobility, wellness, and sustained engagement. The results revealed significant improvements in flexibility (M = 33.40 cm), muscular endurance (M = 20.30 push-ups), core strength (M = 62.80 seconds), and cardiovascular fitness (post-test heart rate = 109.60 bpm). Employees demonstrated high awareness of physical wellness, but motivation for regular movement during work hours was low. The study identified gaps in supervisory support and ergonomic considerations, recommending tailored wellness programs and stronger management involvement to increase engagement. The findings emphasize the importance of addressing both individual and environmental factors to improve mobility and wellness in the workplace. Integrating customized wellness initiatives and leveraging technology could enhance participation and long-term health outcomes.
