Peer Review Policy

Overview

The journal employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and scholarly value of all manuscripts submitted for publication. Peer review serves as a critical mechanism for maintaining academic standards, improving the quality of research, and ensuring that published articles contribute meaningfully to their respective fields of study.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a formal peer review conducted by qualified experts in the relevant discipline.

Type of Peer Review

The journal follows a double-blind peer review process. Under this system, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process. This ensures objectivity, impartiality, and fairness in the evaluation of manuscripts.

Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, the editorial office conducts a preliminary evaluation of the manuscript to determine whether it meets the journal’s basic requirements. During this stage, the editorial team assesses:

  • Relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s scope and aims
  • Compliance with the journal’s formatting and submission guidelines
  • Basic academic quality and originality
  • Completeness of required components such as abstract, keywords, references, and ethical declarations

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision prior to peer review or may be declined at this stage.

Reviewer Selection

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who possess expertise in the subject area of the manuscript. Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, research background, and experience in the relevant field.

Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.

Peer Review Process

During the peer review stage, reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including but not limited to:

  • Originality and contribution to knowledge
  • Relevance and significance of the research topic
  • Clarity of research objectives and questions
  • Appropriateness of research methodology
  • Validity and reliability of findings
  • Quality of analysis and discussion
  • Organization, clarity, and academic writing quality
  • Adequacy and accuracy of references

Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommend one of the following editorial decisions:

  • Accept without revisions
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Accept with major revisions
  • Reject

Editorial Decision

Authors will receive a decision letter along with anonymized reviewer comments. When revisions are required, authors are expected to submit a revised manuscript addressing the reviewers’ comments within the specified timeframe.

Authors who receive revision requests must submit:

  • A revised version of the manuscript
  • A detailed response to reviewers explaining how each comment was addressed

Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts under review are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not share, distribute, or use the content of manuscripts for personal or professional purposes prior to publication.

Conflict of Interest

Editors and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the manuscript, including personal relationships, financial interests, or professional affiliations that may influence their judgment. In such cases, the manuscript will be reassigned to another reviewer or editor.

Ethical Standards

The journal adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to uphold principles of academic integrity, including the avoidance of plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical research practices.

Timeline of Review

While the journal strives to complete the peer review process promptly, the timeline may vary depending on the availability of reviewers and the extent of revisions required. Authors will be notified of the progress of their manuscripts throughout the review process.
