Abstract

This correlational study investigated the link between teachers’ self-efficacy and their job satisfaction among 12 senior high school teachers at Paso de Blas Senior High School. Using the Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1994) and the short form of the Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale (Tschannen-Moran & Woolfolk Hoy, 2001), data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation. The key finding reveals a significant positive correlation between teachers’ perceptions of self-efficacy and their level of job satisfaction.
