Abstract
This study explored the principles, practices, innovations, and challenges associated with the implementation of Education 5.0 among school managers in Oriental Mindoro. Anchored on the emerging demands of the Fifth Industrial Revolution (IR 5.0), the research examined how educational institutions adapt to rapid technological advancements, learner-centered approaches, competency-based standards, and holistic development in basic education. Despite the growing relevance of Education 5.0, existing studies remain fragmented and fail to provide a comprehensive framework that integrates its multidimensional components within the Philippine educational context.Using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), this study aimed to identify the underlying structures and relationships among the variables related to Education 5.0 implementation. Specifically, the study investigated the emerging principles of Education 5.0, existing educational practices and innovations, and the challenges encountered by school managers in adapting to this paradigm shift. The research further sought to develop an evidence-based framework that may guide educational leaders, policymakers, and institutions in effectively implementing Education 5.0. The researcher employed a mixed-methods research design, combining both qualitative and quantitative approaches to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the research problem. Finding of the study revealed that the training accessibility and the teacher readiness are major factor affecting the successful implementation of Education 5.0. Insufficient access to professional development opportunities, limited technological preparedness and inadequate support systems reduce teachers’ capacity to effectively integrate innovations and technology into teaching and learning. Strengthening teacher training and continuous professional development. From this finding a Principal Component Analysis-Based Framework was being proposed (PCABF). The framework for Education 5.0 revolves around four key components: principles, practices, innovations, and challenges.
