Abstract

This study analyzes the academic-related problems encountered by Grade 4-Narra of Maningcol Central School. (MCS). With the transition from lower grade to higher grade of education, students face various challenges that may affect their academic performance. Understanding these academic-related problems is essential in identifying appropriate interventions and support for students. The study employed qualitative research. A survey was conducted among 45 students, focusing on the different academic-related problems they experience, including study habits, motivation, time management, and academic skills. The findings reveal that students encounter several academic-related problems such as difficulty in understanding lessons, poor study habits, and lack of focus, procrastination, and pressure from academic workload. These challenges contribute to variations in students’ academic performance. The study concludes that academic-related problems significantly affect the learning process of Grade 4 students. Therefore, teachers, parents, and school administrators should provide appropriate guidance, support, and strategies to help students overcome these difficulties. Further research is recommended to explore more effective interventions to address these academic challenges.
