One of the goals of the K-12 Basic Education Program is to develop the learner’s competencies, work ethics, and values relevant to pursuing further education and joining the world of work. This study was conducted to assess the readiness and technical capabilities of Mianay NHS students as a basis for Pre-Work Immersion. A descriptive-correlational design was used to employ the quantitative method of research. The respondents of this study were 101 Grade 12 students enrolled in the work immersion subject across different strands. This study further aimed to provide clarification to work immersion students, work immersion teachers, LGUs, parents, work immersion partners, and the school in order to promote and clarify strategies based on the Work Immersion Guidelines. The researcher used a 50-item questionnaire and adopted a 5-point Likert scale. The general objective of the study was to determine the readiness and technical capabilities of Mianay NHS students as a basis for Pre-Work Immersion. The level of readiness based on the results gathered was competent. The level of technical capabilities was highly capable. There is a significant relationship between technical competency and capability, with p = 0.000 and a correlation of 0.607.
