Abstract
This study analyzed the full implementation of the School Feeding Program in Sacpil Elementary School. Specifically on the school-feeding program’s implementation, financial budget monitoring, feedback and issues and challenges in its implementation. The study used basic qualitative research with the school nurse, school coordinator of the feeding program, and 6 parents of Sacpil Elementary School, Sacpil, Conner, Apayao as its respondents. The researcher concludes that the school feeding program is fully implemented in Sacpil Elementary School. It is also concluded that the budget and allocation came from the government-department of education. There was also a significant positive impact of the school feeding program to the parents and most especially the learners, in their overall well-being. Lastly, the challenges in its implementation are supply and budget problems, participation and engagement issues. Therefore, the researcher recommends that the school with the help of the principal and the assistance of the teachers are recommended to have their own vegetable farm in order to support the budget and materials being given by the department of education to the school. The parents are also encouraged to lend a helping hand in partnership with the programs of the school in order to further solidify the parent-teacher relationship as well as to aid in the implementation of the school feeding program. Future researchers are recommended to conduct a more thorough study on the school feeding program in the areas that needs improvement, not just focusing on the impact of school feeding program to the academic achievement of the learners.
