Abstract

This study looks at how digitalization affects education systems and policies around the world, focusing on technology use, teacher training in ICT, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Research from different regions shows that digitalization can boost student engagement, make learning more accessible, and help students build both cognitive and soft skills. Training teachers to use ICT effectively is key to making the most of these benefits and keeping up with global education trends. The sudden shift of online learning during the pandemic gives a new opportunities and challenges, such as difficulty in online access, readiness, and student well-being. These findings highlight the need for continued investment in digital infrastructure, teacher training, and policy changes to help education systems stay fair, strong, and ready for future changes.

Keywords: digitalization of education, technology, ICT training for teachers, COVID 19 online learning
