Abstract
Effective teacher training programs and ongoing professional development are critical components in the successful implementation of education reform and policy initiatives. This study investigates the impact of teacher training programs and interprofessional development on education reform and policy implementation in a school setting. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining survey data from teachers and administrators with in-depth interviews and observations. The findings suggest that teacher training programs and interprofessional development can significantly enhance teachers’ capacity to implement education reform and policy initiatives, leading to improved student outcomes and school performance. However, the study also highlights the challenges and barriers that can hinder the effectiveness of these initiatives, including inadequate resources, insufficient support, and resistance to change. The study’s results have important implications for education policymakers, school administrators, and teacher educators, emphasizing the need for sustained investment in teacher training and development to support education reform and policy implementation.
