Abstract
This survey-correlational research explored the levels of struggle and resilience among parents of autistic children during the 2025-2026 academic year. There were Forty (40) parents of autistic children from Inzo Arnaldo Village Integrated School participated in the study, which aimed to answer 28 questions regarding the struggles of parents with autistic children and twenty-nine questions regarding the resilience of parents with autistic children. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire, validated by three experts in inclusive education. Following validation, the questionnaire was final tested with 40 parents in Inzo Arnaldo Village Integrated School. Factor analysis, construct validation, and reliability testing were conducted using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software. The independent variable was the level of struggles of parents with autistic children, while the dependent variable was the level of resilience of parents with autistic children. Descriptive statistics, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Pearson correlation were employed for data analysis, with a significance level set at 0.05. Major findings perceived a low level of struggles of Parents and a high level of resilience of parents with autistic children. Additionally, a non-significant relationship between struggles and resilience of parents with autistic children. Based from the findings, an output on (PEREP) parents empowerment and resilience enhance program was developed.
Keywords: Autistic children, parental struggles, parental resilience, inclusive education, survey-correlational research.
